Managing household expenses can be overwhelming, with scattered bills, multiple deadlines, and complex systems creating unnecessary stress. Recognizing that many people face this challenge, I decided to design a solution that simplifies financial management.

Overview
Uno is a household expense management app designed to simplify how users track and pay their domestic taxes. By consolidating electricity, water, land fees, and other recurring payments into a single, intuitive platform, Uno eliminates the hassle of managing multiple bills and deadlines.

The app provides real-time updates, automated payment options, and a clear financial overview, ensuring users stay organized and in control with minimal effort.
Problem Statment
Confusion in household expense management
The current household expense management process involves users juggling multiple platforms, such as bank apps, utility websites, and payment reminders, creating a fragmented and stressful experience. The lack of a unified solution makes it difficult for users to track, organize, and pay their bills efficiently in one place.

Simplify and save time
The goal of Uno is to streamline household expense management, offering a unified platform that consolidates all bill tracking and payments. By simplifying the process from tracking to paying, Uno aims to save users time, reduce stress, and make managing domestic taxes effortless.
Research
User Perspectives on Uno
Through a combination of interviews and a survey, I gathered insights from individuals managing household expenses. The research revealed that users struggle with managing multiple bills across various platforms, leading to frustration and inefficiency. They expressed a clear need for a unified, easy-to-use solution that consolidates all payments, offers real-time updates, and automates the process, helping them stay on top of their finances with minimal effort.

In my research, I found that most competitors focus on individual aspects of expense management, like bill tracking or reminders, but lack a unified solution. None offer a comprehensive platform like Uno, which consolidates multiple payments into one seamless, user-friendly experience.
Wireframes
Unified Solution
I started by mapping the core user flow, focusing on key actions for seamless bill management. Based on research insights, I expanded the journey to address real user needs. The wireframes evolved iteratively, balancing simplicity and functionality while ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience.
Design Phase
Aligning with a Clear Visual Identity
Since Uno required a cohesive and intuitive experience, I focused on creating a design system that maintained consistency while enhancing usability. I iteratively refined the interface, ensuring the visual language aligns with the app’s core values of simplicity, efficiency, and clarity.
Creating a Seamless and Effortless Experience
Users want a simple way to manage their expenses without feeling overwhelmed. I prioritized a clean, minimalistic main dashboard that displays key information at a glance, allowing users to stay in control with ease.
Reducing Anxiety Around Late Payments
Many users worry about missing deadlines due to scattered bills. To solve this, I integrated a clear and non-intrusive alert system that notifies users when a payment is overdue, ensuring they stay on track without unnecessary stress.
Empowering Users with Clear Financial Insights
Users expressed a need for better visibility into their spending habits. To address this, I designed an intuitive statistics page that visually breaks down expenses, helping users track their payments over time and make informed financial decisions.
