Empathy Through Design
The goal of this project wasn’t to create a typical campaign but to express the emotions and feelings of those who suffer from mental disorders. I wanted to communicate the inner struggles faced by individuals in a way that would foster empathy and understanding from those around them. The objective was to break the stigma and build a bridge between those who may not understand mental health challenges and those who experience them daily.
Through thoughtful design and evocative illustrations, I aimed to capture the emotional complexity of mental health. The visuals were intentionally raw and honest, reflecting the isolation, confusion, and vulnerability that often accompany mental struggles. At the same time, they were meant to create space for hope and connection, helping people see beyond the stigma and recognize the humanity of those affected.

Research and Exploration
To create meaningful visuals, I began by studying both psychological research and real-life stories related to mental disorders. My background in psychology played a key role in helping me better understand how the mind works, which deepened my insight into the mental states I aimed to illustrate. This research became crucial in ensuring that my designs accurately reflected the emotional landscapes of mental health, rather than relying on stereotypes or oversimplifications.
By combining psychological principles with personal narratives, I was able to capture the complexity of mental health in a way that resonated on a human level. Each visual was intentionally crafted to convey not just the struggles, but also the resilience and hope that often exist alongside these challenges. The process of research and exploration ultimately guided the development of visuals that were both honest and impactful, sparking empathy and understanding.

Design Approach
My design approach centered around clarity and accessibility, to foster trust and empathy. At the heart of the visuals is a figure navigating through various mental states, symbolized by delicate grain-like elements. These elements represent a timeless question: are we defined by our soul, or merely by our physical selves? This visual metaphor encourages viewers to reflect on the nature of the mind and identity, sparking a thoughtful conversation about mental health. Through this design, I aimed to approach the topic with care, curiosity, and an invitation to engage in deeper dialogue.
